Background:
Accessing VMware ESX via website (webAccess) is easy. Using IE under Windows, installation and execution of the plugin encounters no problems. But installing the Firefox plugin under CentOS, while this doesn’t show any problems, getting the virtual console to come up is a different matter. The main issue here is that the console plugin is looking for one particular library, the libXcomposite package. Installing this package would now let you open up the virtual console.
Troubleshooting:
1. Go to ~/.mozilla/firefox//extensions/VMwareVMRC@vmware.com/plugins
2. run ./vmware-vmrc
3. will print out an error referring to a missing libXcomposite.so.1
4. running yum whatprovides libXcomposite.so.1 will provide you with the correct package name to install

In my opinion, he’s one of the more capable presidents that the Philippines ever had.
Tonight I just received word that Atty. Hector Siruelo has passed away, suffering from a heart attack. For me, it’s both shock and sadness that someone, who’s full of life, would suddenly go away. Death will eventually come for all of us, the great equalizer.
He was our family lawyer, was always there to help when needed. He was a friend, he even jokingly referred to me as his protege. Above all, I know him as a person of integrity, an honest person. He may have some vices, but hey, no one’s perfect. Not even the Pope.
Come to think of it, he was in my thoughts recently. I guess I should have listened to myself and went ahead to visit him. Now all that remains are memories, thoughts and regrets for those that have been left behind. It is my sincerest wish and hope, that his family would get through this crisis and become stronger as a result.
