He filed Senate Bill No. 12 or the Anti Pornography Bill. This simply shows that Senator Revilla doesn’t know crap about how the Internet works. Typical knee jerk reaction of someone in power, who thinks he knows better than those running the business.
Using the Congress as the floor, calling for the revocation of the MD license of Hayden Kho for conduct unbecoming for a doctor, is only not appropriate, it’s simply grandstanding. It also deprives the people concerned, their due process.
Over the years, we have seen senators and congressmen filing bills and resolutions, condemning and penalizing immoral acts. They have become the moral crusaders and guardians of our collective conscience. Remember the quote from the Bible? “He who has no sin, cast the first stone”. They are our modern-day Pharisees and Sadducees, full of self-righteousness. Well, pardon me, your honorable personages, your actions speaks louder than your words. Just for once, please do the country a favor. Resign, retire out of politics if you don’t have any constructive to contribute to the progress and welfare of our people, other than filling your pockets with the taxpayers’ money.
